Sleepy Fish Silk is hand painted by Helene Rankin in her studio on Magnetic Island, North Queensland
Luxury silks are stretched onto a frame and then painted by hand with a brush.
Designs are heavily inspired by nature; the patterns left in the sand when the wave breaks, the play of  light on water or dappled light shining through leaves.
Clients are able to communicate their own ideas of color and design, which are then interpreted by Helene as she paints.
